GUARDIANSHIP & THIRD PARTY CUSTODY of MINORS
Caring for and spending time with your loves ones is important. Making sure you get the time needed with them is where our office comes in.
An adoption in Indiana requires a lot of steps and paperwork. Attorney Jameson knows the ins and outs of the Indiana adoption statute.
MODIFICATION of ORDERS
An order needs modification when circumstances have changed which makes a current order no longer in your child's best interest or financial circumstances have changed.
Even if you have a signed paternity affidavit or a father is named on a birth certificate, you must obtain a court order on parenting time, custody, and child support to legally establish these matters. We can assist you in getting legal and proper orders on these issues.
At the Law Office of Donna Jameson, LLC we believe when a client chooses us to help them, they are also telling us they trust us with a very delicate part of their life. We believe having compassion and patience with a client, while they are experiencing a difficult time, eases some of the stress in their lives.
When clients are honest, upfront, and cooperative with their attorneys, we believe the legal process can move much smoother for everyone. It also allows better communication between our office and the client on the following issues:
If they actually have a case which they would prevail on;
If there is a case, how their case will move through the legal system;
How to be cost effective during their case;
How to properly prepare for and handle certain issues that may arise during their case;
What may be needed to possibly achieve their goals for their case.
Our office will never waste your time or money if we do not believe you have a case, if you will not be able to achieve your desired goals, or refer you to another attorney who may better handle the issues you discussed with us. We truly believe in putting the client and their goals first.
